Eligibility

• Individuals, SHGs, FPOs, FPCs, JLGs, Section 8 companies
• Goat breeding unit: Minimum 100 females and 5 males, maximum 500 females and 25 males
• Piggery unit: Minimum 50 sows and 5 boars, maximum 100 sows and 10 boars

Objective

To finance the establishment and running of goatery, sheep, rural poultry, piggery, and small ruminant farms/units, and to develop and promote entrepreneurship in these sectors.

Loan Quantum

•  Minimum ₹2 lakh, maximum ₹1 crore per unit (excluding margin money)

Collateral Security

• Up to ₹2.00 lakh/tie-up arrangements up to ₹3 lakh: Nil
• Above ₹2.00 lakh: SARFAESI-compliant immovable property (minimum 100% RSV), agriculture land and building/lease (minimum 150% RSV), liquid security (FDR, gold ornaments) up to 75%
• For projects on leased land: Repayment period must be within lease expiry; lease agreement must protect bank’s interests.

Rate of Interest

• Upto Rs 3.00 lakhs- MCLR + 1.00%
• Above Rs 3.00 lakhs to

Rs 10.00 lakhs- MCLR + 1.15%

• Above Rs 10.00 lakhs to

Rs 100.00 lakhs- MCLR + 1.25%

Repayment & Moratorium

• Depends on cash flow, varies between 3–7 years.
• Maximum up to 18 months or until income generation, whichever is earlier

     Margin

• Up to ₹2.00 lakh: Nil
• ₹2.00 lakh to ₹5 lakh: 20% of project cost
• Above ₹5 lakh: 25% of project cost
